Meet Us

Modern Orthodontics From Friendly People

Welcome

We want to be your source for orthodontic guidance and, when appropriate, orthodontic treatment. We look forward to meeting you.
At the first visit, Dr. Thompson will examine your mouth for orthodontic problems and discuss his findings. While this exam does not always result in immediate treatment, it allows Dr. Thompson to determine how and when a patient’s particular problem should be treated for maximum improvement with the least time and expense.

About Dr. Thompson

Dr. Mark Thompson is a 1987 graduate of Rice University and received his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1991. He practiced general dentistry for several years before returning to Baylor Dental, in 1994, for specialty training in orthodontics. Following graduation, he moved to central Texas and opened his private practice. Outside of the office, Dr. Thompson enjoys family time, live music, backgammon, paddling rivers, and finding great breakfast spots.

About our office

The most notable difference between our orthodontic practice and many others is our deliberate focus on quality over quantity. Towards that goal, Dr. Thompson will perform the vast majority of your adjustments. For many offices, your orthodontic treatment is performed by one of several available assistants, and the assistant you see will vary between appointments. This factory approach is efficient but impersonal. Dr Thompson’s hands-on approach allows more personalization and greater consistency of results.

We are here for you.

Our goal is to provide modern orthodontic treatment in a friendly environment. If convenient, you may download our patient information forms, and bring the completed forms to your first visit.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Patient Information

Your first visit is easy. Dr Thompson will listen to your concerns, and then evaluate your smile and dental alignment. If treatment is indicated, he will propose appliance options and explain the basics of your proposed treatment. The greater details of your orthodontic plan are determined from the plaster models,  photos, and X-rays taken at your second appointment for diagnostic records. You may forward any xrays you have from your dentist and/or their specific concerns prior to arriving at our office. You may also print our new patient forms from the links below. Thanks!
